Conserve important wildlife corridors associated with riparian habitats.

The USFWS Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program in cooperation with private landowners and other local, state and federal organizations continued to support restoration of floodplain connectivity to impacted areas during 2011. Over the course of2010 and 2011, USFWS Partners for Fish and Wildlife personnel worked on 6 projects with other partners to restore 4 miles length and 50 acres area of floodplain connectivity. Partners for Fish and Wildlife anticipates that they will be able to provide assistance to restore 2 miles and 25 acres in 2012.
